VToD 2021 TOURNAMENT

Here is where you can find everything you need to know for VToD 2021.  

Tournament Format:

Group stage :

There are 14 players split into two groups, Group A and Group B.

Each player will play the others in their group once.  The group stage will run for three weeks.

At the end of the group stage the top three players from each group will progress through to the Cup Finals.

The remaining players will progress through to the prestigious plate finals.

All matches best of 3.

A tie break between players  will be decided in the following way, first on matches won.  Then on legs / sets won.  If still tied it will be on legs / sets won versus tied participants.  If still tied somehow then we will have a live broadcast dance off.

Finals 24 - 30 May:

The finals will be a double elimination / double chance system.

The top qualifier from Group A and Group B gets a free pass through the first round of the elimination finals.

The final will be between the last remaining of the winners from the top and bottom bracket.

All matches best of 3, Semi and Final best of 5.

Plate finals will follow a similar format but with 8 people in in the elimination draw.

We'll aim to get all the finals fixtures run and done during the week of 24 - 29 May with the plate and cup finals played on either 29 or30 May and of course a live broadcast!
